Dr Sam Gharbi MD CM FRCPC

Dr. Sam Gharbi is an accomplished clinician, educator, and innovator. In addition to his clinical duties as a physician, he has worked on the executive at Vancouver Coastal Health & Vancouver General Hospital as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for a 5 year term, leading the implementation & transition from paper charts to a fully integrated electronic medical record.  Dr Gharbi's expertise includes Health Informatics and Health Information Technology (HIT), where he currently continues to spearhead reform in these sectors in regards to telehealth, patient handover, and electronic health records in order to improve the quality of healthcare delivery.
